Making a Claim

To claim a free gift on your investment, you'll need to follow these steps.

1. Buy 1 x Makita Outdoor Power Equipment Cordless Tool from UK Planet Tools from 01/03/25 - 30/09/25.
2. Register your product and submit a claim at makitauk.com within 28 days of purchase.
3. Get the BL4040F sent directly from Makita, SUBJECT TO STOCK AVAILABILITY.

Terms & Conditions

Eligibility

• You must be aged 18 or over to take part in this redemption.
• You must be ordinarily resident in the UK with a UK delivery address (excluding ROI)
• You must purchase an eligible product(s) from a UK reseller (UK Planet Tools) within the promotional window (01/03/25 - 30/09/25).
• The claim must be made within 28 days of purchase (making the absolute last day to claim 28/10/25).

Qualifying Purchases

• A Qualifying Purchase is a Makita (UK) Limited Product with the model number listed above that is made within the promotional window.

Delivery

• The free gift will be delivered to the UK postal address noted on the claim application.
• Applications for redemption outside the UK cannot be accepted as part of this offer.

Claims

• Makita UK requires documentation from eligible customers wishing to make a claim.
• Documentation includes: I) Proof of Purchase (an image of the invoice), II) an image of the qualifying purchase packaging showing the label with the model purchased and EAN Barcode, III) an image of the serial number on the product plate – normally where the battery attaches to the product.
• Claims can only be made by Trade and Retail Consumer Customers / End Users (customers like you). Any claim submitted by Makita Distributors or Stockists or anyone purchasing qualifying products for the purpose of reselling will be denied.
• No applications from organised groups, third parties, agents, macros or other automated means will be allowed. Incomplete applications or applications that are not in accordance with these Terms & Conditions or instructions will be rejected.

Returns

• Upon validation of your claim, you will receive your gift after 30 days to account for product returns.
• Where a participant wishes to return their qualifying purchase, they are no longer eligible to participate in the offer.

Rights & Entitlement

• You cannot transfer entitlement to the free gift unless otherwise permitted by Makita UK.
• Responsibility is not accepted for applications damaged, lost or delayed as a result of computer hardware, network or software failure of any kind.
• Makita UK reserves the right to remove promotional material from circulation, amend these Terms or withdraw the Offer at any point during the offer period. In the case of amendment or withdrawal, a notice will be given. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, Makita UK reserves the right to substitute the free gift for an alternative of equal or greater value.
• The promoter does not accept any liability for loss or damage occurring as a result of taking up the free gift, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
• Personal data supplied to Makita UK will only be used for the administration of the offer but may be passed on to third party suppliers only as required for fulfilment or delivery of the gift.
• These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by English Law and the English Courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
