Well made, light weight mower. Just gets around our estimated 500m sq lawns on two 3AH batteries which I have from previous Makita tools. Other great thing is the plastic deck. A steel one was the downfall of our previous mower as it just rotted through.

Cordless Multi Tool Buyer’s Guide

Tips to buy a Cordless multi tool

A multi-tool is an excellent addition to any crafter or handyman’s DIY toolbox with its multipurpose working. First, it packs a number of functions like sanding or cutting metal or wood trimming; all in one, compact tool. Second, instead of investing in 4 different machines, it comes in reasonably priced saving you some good money. And lastly, a machine like Dewalt 18v multi tool bare, i.e. Dewalt multi tool with battery, runs on standard batteries which can also be used for other DeWalt machines, giving more value for your money.

Choosing the best multi tool with battery

UK Planet Tools has compiled a list of considerations that will help you buy your next multi tool from London to Glasgow, anywhere in the mainland UK.

  • Cordless or mains: Cordless multi tools are more portable and are equally capable, performance-wise. Offering more portability to reach difficult areas and cramped workspaces, consider buying something like Dewalt battery multi tool that runs on a standard XR Li-ion battery giving excellent battery time.
  • OPM: Oscillations per minute are to be considered when looking for a good multi tool. Multi tools with variable speed are a good option, to adjust to your specific tasks accordingly. Higher oscillation rates translate to better the power of the machine and thus, better performance such as Dewalt multi tool set.
  • Oscillation Angle: Oscillation angle gives you an idea about the speed of your tool. Higher the oscillation angle faster is the blade movement and speed of cutting. The Dewalt multi tool bare offers high oscillation angles, making it one of the best tools available in the market.
  • Accessories: Multi tools are available with a long list of attachments and accessories such as various sizes of blades, suitable to cut through different materials. You can also find a choice of sanding pads, scrapers and even rasping pads along with your multi tool. The electric multitool Dewalt comes with a full range of accessories in the Dewalt multi tool kit, keeping in mind a broad range of requirements for varied tasks.
