This is a huge improvement over a previous Hunter circular saw I had. I use it with the Kreg Accu-Cut and find it lightweight, relatively quiet, precise and conveinient. Would recommend it to anyone. Of course you are limited by battery life which is quite long but not endless.

Used for roofing. The hanging hook is perfect for the top of a scaff pole. Makita all the way.
New to power tools. Tried it out on some spare wood and its like a hot knife through butter

Great that one battery size fits multiple Marita Power Tools. Already bought Battery Powered Angle Grinder from Marita. Looking at buying their planner later this year.

After a lot of research I decided to buy this one as it can be used with all my other LXT tools and batteries.Lightweight compact and a pleasure to use. Wish I’d brought this years ago. First time used I couldn’t feel any resistance whilst cutting through MDF boards. So powerful and a great tool.I would recommend this to anyone.

The light is not worth having as it lights the saw blade and the blade is not easily visible when cutting. The main thing I do not like is all the sawdust being blown all over my legs while using it. This is worse when I had to cut the head of a garage door frame and got the sawdust in my eye's and face while using it upside down. This is because the saw is made for a left handed person. I only realised this when I put it next to my 110v DeWalt saw. The motor is on the right hand side and would have to completely redesigned and all the ally casting's changed. I got the saw because I had some other tools that use the same batteries and it was to late to send it back after I found this out.
