The Makita 18v Li-ion mini reciprocating saw is a small, easy to handle reciprocating saw with quick release blade change. The attached LED job light on this mini-saw helps for consistent clear visuals when performing tasks in different lighting conditions. This reciprocating saw has a shoe adjustment feature allowing a full range of access to the saw blade and can extend it for bigger jobs. The mini reciprocating saw also has a tool less blade clamp which makes swapping out blades both safer, as you don’t get your hands too close to the machinery and makes it incredibly quick and easy, upping efficiency. The variable speed control feature on this 18v saw has two switch levers to make operation easier and versatile. This Li-ion mini saw has a rubberised shapely handle for continued tight grip to give maximum power thrust. Weighing only 1.6kg and still pumping out up to 3000 Strokes per minute, you won’t need to sacrifice when making use of this saw, which is capable of ripping through wood, metals, plastics and many other materials. The slimmed down shape and size makes the DJR183 the perfect tool for getting into tight, or limited access areas, or just using it while on the go.

- Shoe Adjustment: The shoe on this mini-saw is adjustable, which allows greater access to different areas of the blade and can extend the blade's life. It can be used to pin down flexible material, like sheet metal, while cutting.
- Tool less blade clamp: For this Makita reciprocating saw blade no tools are needed to clamp the blade into the tool, it is secured to the shaft assembly. To use this blade clamp, just press up on the black lever insert the blade and it is locked in the clamp. Simply turn to remove the blade.
- Variable speed control: The Makita mini li-ion saw has two switch levers, the trigger switch on the tool’s handle & the paddle switch on the tool body makes operation easier at any grip position for versatile applications by using either trigger.
