A superbly robust knife, the sharpness being complained about on another review baffles me as its a Stanley knife with replaceable blade. Some criticism is the area where the wood went under the metal on the handle was some gaps, I solved this with some battlefield repairs I did with some wood glue and some wood shavings to match the wood. Once done no complaints. I carved my name into the wooden handle, very handy on a work site when things go missing. unfortunately it did go missing and this wasn't available when I came to buy it so had to buy a crap knife I hate. will rebuy this I suspect. This knife also almost got me laid. i was in Turks and Caicos on a job and went to buy some conch fritters for a lunch break and the waitress came over all sultry and told me she likes my knife, it was holstered on my work pants, she immediately took it and said, it's so heavy I like the wood. ( I swear I am not making nay of this up) she tried to open it but I think she was faining not being able to, she got close and asked me to show her, so I went to take the knife to show her and she held on to it and put her hands in mine. Then my conch fritters came I got away form the crazy, but I was always intrigued what could have been, all thanks to this knife. She wasn't half bad, I have never slept with a black woman and I wonder could that have been my chance.
