The Bosch HEX-9 Hard Tile/Ceramic Bit is capable of dry-drilling hard ceramics. This would be used mostly by trade professionals. As wall tiles have become larger and harder, drilling holes in them has become very demanding on a tile drill bit, that’s why Bosch have developed the Expert HEX-9 HardCeramic Drill Bit. It uses Bosch’s Carbide Technology, which is the hardest of metals and combines it with an advanced multi-faceted tip design that shares the workload over multiple asymmetric faces. It can drill into ceramics and drill holes in hard tiles without lubricant or cooling. It uses a Hex shank for maximum power transfer in standard three-jaw drills and hex screwdriver chucks. Supplied as a 5 piece.
