The DEWALT DCD1623N-XJ 18v XR Mag Drill Press Bare Unit is a powerful tool with a maximum drilling capacity of 50mm with annual cutters. This cordless tool delivers all the power and performance of a corded drill, allowing users to complete up to 40 20mm holes on 12mm steel whilst on a 9Ah battery. This impressive drill can drill and tap holes in plate steel, pipes, beams, and thick metal. The drill offers 5 electronic variable speeds and 2 mechanical speed transmission to achieve the best drilling speed for both large and small diameter bits. The integrated LED light means work surfaces are always properly illuminated for improved visibility and precision. It can be used in Forward or Reverse modes, making it highly convenient for tapping. Its protective features include Lift-off detection to cut off the power when excess rotation is detected, as well as a permanent 9.9 KN magnet to prevent magnet deactivation.
