Fitted with a powerful brushless motor and 305mm blade, it delivers an outstanding 310mm maximum cross-cut capacity and 112mm depth of cut, perfect for tackling stud walls, roof timbers, stair treads, hardwood mouldings, and kitchen kickboards with ease. The DCS782N features Dewalts advanced XPS cross-cut positioning system, casting a shadow of the blade onto the material for true-to-line cuttingwithout the need for calibration. The dual bevel system offers up to 48 both left and right, while the mitre angle ranges from 50 left to 60 right, locked in with a stainless steel detent plate and CAM lock system for rapid, repeatable accuracy.

Its intelligent design includes regenerative braking technology to extend battery runtime, a crows foot bevel lock for fast adjustment, and drop-down gearing to maximise vertical cut height. The machines aluminium base and linear rails with three bearings deliver rock-solid stability while reducing weight to just 22kg, making it highly portable with integrated carry handles and base extensions.

Dust is kept under control with Dewalts AirLock-compatible dust port and a durable rubber catcher, while wireless tool control automatically triggers compatible extractors for cleaner cuts. Quick clamp slots and a large dual-sliding fence offer full material support and safety during operation.
