The conical shape of the guide roller means that only part of the roller is in contact with the edge, which reduces frictional resistance and ensures better guidance on profiled edges. For 16-fold use of the radius indexable insert, both guide rollers are required for radius 1.2 mm in order to be able to use the two radius cutting edges per edge (8x).
