The Hikoki NT1865DAA 18V Brushless 15G Angled Finish Nailer is a 2nd generation nail gun that includes an air-spring drive system to produce a smooth, pneumatic-like feel to working.
First and foremost, the new design has decreased the size and weight making it lighter as well as more compact fitting nicer in hold. The low noise threshold and low recoil make for comfortable working.
Along with a slimline nose design with no-mar tip for precision nailing, the redesign along with the combination of brushless motor as well as the unique Air Spring Drive system, lets you sink 65mm nails with sublime ease.
With the option of either full sequential or contact drive modes, the NT1865DAA Nail Gun is capable of driving up to 3 nails per second. With a nail capacity of 100nails to the magazine, it is compatible with 32 – 64mm 15Ga nails on a 34° angle. An accurate dial depth adjustment on the side delivers control over the nail driving.
A bright LED work light lets you continue to work regardless of lighting condition as well as exact placement in lower light situations. A dry-fire lockout function prevents stapler from driving when no fasteners are inserted in the tool.
At the heart of this Hikoki finishing nailer is the brushless motor that ensures highest performance, more running time and maximum service life. Unlike carbon brush motors, the brushless motor is not subject to any wear and is therefore maintenance-free.
The technology in creating a brushless motor system allows for perfect symmetry between battery power and usage ensuring you get all the power you need, when you need it.

Hikoki, formerly known as Hitachi, have specialised in power tools and equipment for the professional tradesperson since 1948, with their story starting as a producer of tools in the mining trade. Now acting globally, they’ve remained rooted in Japanese tradition, changing their name to the English word ‘high’ and Japanese ‘koki’ meaning ‘industrial machines’ in 2018, better reflecting what their tools represent. Today, Hikoki’s motive is simple: provide an ergonomic design, better balance, optimal control and maximum reliability to give professionals ultimate freedom on the job site. And that’s what they do.
