The Hultafors Hults Bruk Hult Splitting Axe has been designed for splitting logs and wood. The shape of the head, combined with slightly convex grinding, splits the wood. The Hult axe has a long, straight handle made from American hickory, to gain maximum speed and control when splitting logs.
Hand forged from Swedish quality steel, the head is struck 40–60 times to increase density and durability. The axe is supplied sharpened, polished and ready to use, in a leather axe sheath.
The name of this axe has its origin in Hult, the area where Hults Bruk was founded. Like most old Swedish geographical names, it describes the surrounding landscape of the place.
