JCB bears the initials of its founder, Joseph Cyril Bamford, and is one of Britain’s most successful family-owned businesses. As a global force in manufacturing, JCB is now a far cry from the one-man start-up it once was in 1945, building agricultural tipping trailers out of surplus WWII parts and scrap metals. Specialising in construction equipment since 1975, their logo is now synonymous with the job site, where you’ll find everything from their 46-tonne tracked excavators to JCB-branded storage boxes, to power tools in both cordless and corded designs.
