- Long battery charge: The DLX2176TJ comes with 2 high-performance 5.0Ah Makita BL1850 18V LXT Li-Ion batteries, ensuring long, uninterrupted run times. Recharging the BL1850 5.0Ah 18V battery takes just 45 minutes when using the Makita DC18RC or Makita DC18RA faster charger.
- Brushless motor: Both of the tools included in this kit run on Makita's coveted brushless motors, giving more power and longer run time and increasing your tool's life expectancy by nearly 3 times.
- Electric brake: Integrated electric brakes prevent damage to your tool's internal mechanism over time. They also improve the safety of use during operation, massively reducing the chance of an unexpected lock-up.
- Twin LEDs: The powerful integrated LED job lights will light up your workspace; with the nights drawing in, that's just what you need if you're finishing up your summer DIY task or that final roof job.

Not much to say other than the fact that this is a perfect set, outstanding performance and build quality, the batteries rarely need charging mid-day and the combi drill is powerful enough to have essentially made my rotary hammer obsolete for drilling work, it does get quite warm if you do a lot of drilling into concrete so I tend to give it a break regularly, other than that it's perfect.

Power, build quality, light weight, batteries last whole day.Impact driver has too much torque and can easily snap screws and bitsUsed with ezarc carbide hex drill bits, the impact driver becomes a great multi drill/driver tool.Easily tackling 10mm masonary holes in hard brick and afterwards driving in bolts.Perfect in a lightweight tool set bagI'm no makita fan boy, but this is a quality set of tools

A truly Powerful drill & impact driver.Fantastic build quality.Drills trough hardwood & masonry effortlessly, I have no doubt this drill can handle any task asked of it.Impact driver is smooth and powerful, a joy to use.I was torn between this & the Milwaukee M18 fuel set (which was £50 cheaper) but I’m glad I opted for the Makita.

If you are a trade's man (I'm a joiner), or serious diy'er you cannot go wrong with this kit. Both items up to usually Makita standard, would be overkill for ordinary household use

Came when it said it would and these drills are the business!! Charged them when they came and the chargers been in the box since both batteries still fullbars after 4 jobs where drills were used extensively also used one of the batteries with the 18v multi tool sanding for about 20 min never dented the battery life I fully recommend these drills to anyone in trade/construction. These have tore through every task iv thrown at them and although sceptical at first the macpac cases have proven to be extremely handy I will keep adding to this kit and can see a makita trolly on the Xmas list. Also I bought a set of bosch drill bits to go in the box the medium Sized kits fit nicely but the large ones are slightly too big to close the lid (I keep mine in the multi tool box).
