The Makita UX01GD202 40V 1000W 2x2.5Ah XGT BL Split-Shaft Kit is perfect for professional gardeners, groundskeepers and landscapers. It contains the UR008GD 40V 100W Split-Shaft that has a brushless motor to ensure high performance and longer tool life. Three speeds are at your disposal to give you more options over how you tackle your work. The highest delivers a no-load speed of 9700rpm which enables the tool to make short work of dense foliage. To prevent jamming, Makita has fitted a reverse switch and their unique Active Feedback Sensing Technology (AFT), which shuts down the tool if the rotation speed suddenly slows down. The ergonomic grip makes using the tool comfortable and there is no need to worry about wet weather because it is IPX4 water-resistant.
