The Makita DGA469 is a 115mm/4.5" cordless angle grinder powered by an 18v LXT Li-Ion battery, and is equipped with X-LOCK mechanism that allows for quick and easy wheel changes. With X-LOCK, you’ll no longer need additional tools to adjust, install, or remove the wheel, as all you need to do is lock it in place with your hands, or pull a lever to remove it. There’s also a toolless wheel cover that works as a safety guard, covering half the wheel. Automatic Torque Drive Technology automatically changes the cutting speed according to load condition, while Active Feedback Sensing Technology (AFT) shuts down the Makita angle grinder if the rotation speed suddenly slows down. A brushless motor offers up to 30% more run time on your 18v angle grinder, and requires less maintenance than a brushed model, since the brushes won’t need cleaning or replacing. A variable speed dial gives you complete control of the Makita X Lock Angle Grinder, and can be adjusted from task to task.
