Makita DGA900 are high powered 230mm (9") cordless angle grinders powered by two 18V Li-ion batteries in series. The 36v DC brushless motor delivers more power and run time without leaving the 18v Lithium-ion platform. The grinder power tool has a current limiter that provides overload protection so that the power cuts off when under high current draw, enhancing user safety. It has a soft start, too, so the Makita angle grinder will turn on gradually rather than at full speed. Anti-restart prevents Makita 36v angle grinders from starting up accidentally, while an electric brake reduces the chance of an unexpected lock-up, so this further increases safety in the workplace. Active Feedback Technology (ADT) automatically changes the cutting speed according to load condition for optimum operation. AFT also shuts down the tool to protect the user if the rotation speed suddenly slows down. What’s more, the electric angle grinder is ergonomically designed and comfortable to hold with a soft handle grip, and has a battery guard, large switch lever with lock-off function, and battery indicators for over-discharge and overheating protection.
