The Makita DUH551Z LXT Cordless Hedge Trimmer is powered by two 18 volt lithium-ion batteries (sold separate) in series for high performance trimming, optimally balanced for fatigue-free work. With extremely low noise emission compared to the 21mL petrol-powered machine, and almost the same as the AC machine. The Rear handle rotates and can be fixed in 5 positions, with locking positions at 45°, 90° and 0° making vertical and angled trimming easier and faster. Versatile thanks to variable speed control dial, the low stroke speed is ideal for trimming soft young leaves into desired hedge shape and for extra speed and power turn the dial to "6", the highest stroke speed of 1,800min.-1. Body Only/Naked machine supplied without battery or charger.
