The Makita DUX60PT2 18V Brushless LXT Split Shaft is the ideal tool for landscaping and gardening. Ideal for professional and DIY use, the tool has two 18V Li-ion batteries which supply its impressively powerful 36V DC motor drive system. It has a loop handle, with safety features including overload protection, an electric brake, variable speed control, and an Auto-off function triggered after a minute of no operation. In addition, the Active Feedback Sensing Technology shuts the tool down if the rotation speed slows down suddenly. A reverse switch is included to aid in the removal of grass clippings. As a multi-tool system, a wide range of optional attachments are also available, with tool-less installation.
