The Makita EH5000W is a 2 stroke petrol hedge trimmer with a 50cm long double-sided blade. The machine is equipped with the 22.2cc 2-stroke engine that complies with exhaust emission regulations, the same one as used for EH7500S. The main feature of these models is extra light design with further improvements in noise, vibration and handling.

- Forward exhaust direction for operator's health and comfort.
- Specially designed engine has a low centre of gravity that provides better balance to the machine.
- Equipped with floating structure of engine section and handle section for anti-vibration; four damper springs absorb vibration from engine to integrated front and rear handles.
