The Makita GA7020 single speed 180mm 2000w grinder weighs a mere 5.5kg and is fitted with easy access to the carbon brushes to allow the user to easily inspect and change the brushes. 180mm angle grinders have historically been an engineering size machine that have required maximum amount of power from a well balanced machine allowing the user comfort when using the machines for long periods of time. Fitted with a 2 stage on/off switch which requires the user to push the switch forward then pull up and a soft grip rear handle for user comfort and added grip. The front side handle has 3 positions, either side of the gear box for user comfort, or on the top of the gear box which is a position favoured for cutting.
