The Makita TW161D 12v Max brushless impact wrench is part of the CXT (Compact Extreme Technology) range that feature compact and powerful tools built with uncompromising quality as you would expect from the UK's number 1 power tool manufacturer. All CXT tools feature 12v Lithium-Ion slide in batteries with multi-contact terminals to ensure constant contact even under extreme work vibration, LED fuel gauge indicators and individual cell monitoring with circuit protection. The TW161D impact wrench features a 1/2" square drive with 2-stage impact selection and a maximum torque of 165Nm (nut-busting torque 290Nm). Auto-stop mode stops rotation after 0.2 seconds in reverse once the fastening has been loosened sufficiently and prevents nuts from running off threads and falling and getting lost.
