The Makita UC024G chainsaw from the 40Vmax XGT series boasts impressive speed and power, rated at 1,600 Watts. Featuring a gear cover that can be easily removed with two captive nuts for added convenience. The chain speeds along at an impressive 25.5 meters per second with no load, and it includes an inertia-based chain brake system for safety. It accommodates battery sizes up to 5.0 Ah, as larger batteries won't fit in the protective shroud and can cause the machine to become unbalanced. Additionally, it comes with a 200ml onboard automatic oiler that has an adjustable flow rate.
For safety, starting the chainsaw involves a five-step process: pull the front guard/brake towards you, press the power switch, move the safety lever lockout forward, press the safety lever, and finally squeeze the trigger.
