The Metabo BH 18 LTX BL 16, 5/8" SDS-Plus Brushless Rotary Hammer is designed for maximum productivity, durability and safety and is the most compact, lightweight and fastest drilling in its class. The Metabo 2nd generation BRUSHLESS Motor is encapsulated to protect against harsh dust particles and delivers maximum drilling performance, efficiency and service life combined with maximum continuous power and extended run times. Metabo VibraTech (MVT) Technology provides ultimate user comfort with decoupled MVT vibration absorbing rear and side handles. A large, easy to use selector switch allows two modes of operation: hammer drilling and rotary drilling without impact. The Metabo VTC electronics package provides speed stabilization, thermal overload protection, and soft start. The tool also features a heavy duty die-cast aluminum gear-housing, LED work light, and push-button speed/impact energy reduction for softer materials and to prevent spalling when drilling through-holes. The BH 18 LTX BL 16 is compatible with the Metabo ESA-Plus Dust Extraction Set (sold separately). For compliance with OSHA Respirable Crystalline Silica standards or Table 1 compliance standards, Metabo’s full line of concrete tools are designed for use with Metabo dust extraction attachments and vacuums.
