The MSA 60 battery-powered chainsaw is a lightweight cordless chainsaw for cutting firewood and garden maintenance. Fitted with a 12” guide bar, it is designed for private use at home, such as cutting firewood, pruning branches, wood working and felling small trees of up to 20 cm in diameter.
Other features of the MSA 60 include an improved Ergo lever on the back handle for greater comfort during use and across different cutting angles. The trigger system allows for maximum control over the chain speed, for working across different materials, around shrubs or on wood working projects. A transparent chain oil tank offers better visibility of oil levels. The quick chain tensioner allows the sprocket cover to be removed and the chain tensioned without the need for additional tools. Plus, the MSA 60 is fitted with a ¼” PM3 saw chain which provides a clean cut and impressive cutting performance.

STIHL QUICK CHAIN TENSIONING: Thanks to STIHL Quick Chain Tensioning, you can tension your saw chain quickly and without tools, thanks to the adjusting wheel. Turning the adjusting wheel to the left releases tension on the saw chain, and turning the adjustment wheel to the right tensions the saw chain. The guide bar will be automatically secured when you tighten the sprocket cover.

TRANSPARENT OIL TANK: With the transparent oil tank, you can easily and quickly check the fill level of the chain oil. This means that you always know when you need to add chain oil for efficient work over long periods.

SOFT GRIP CONTROL HANDLE: The control lever with potentiometer function allows you to control the speed of your battery-powered chainsaw on an infinitely variable basis, and in this way easily control and adjust its performance as needed. On consumer chainsaws, the potentiometer function is integrated into the throttle lever.

SOFT GRIP HANDLE WITH ERGO LEVER: Thanks to the soft components on the control handle, your work tool sits comfortably in the hand and can be guided safely. The softgrip handle also improves your grip, especially when wet. The ergonomic lever also makes work easier, as there is no need to unlock the machine again while working, as long as one hand continuously remains on the rear handle.
