TIMCO 40040CLASS multi-purpose wood screws are A2 stainless steel countersunk fixings designed for strong, neat joins where corrosion resistance matters. Suitable for a wide range of general fixing tasks, they’re ideal for trade and DIY users working on timber and sheet materials.

The 40040CLASS features a classic deep single-thread design to help achieve a secure fixing with high pull-out resistance. A double countersunk head is designed to assist clean countersinking and help reduce the risk of head shear during installation.

• Double countersunk head: Helps reduce the likelihood of head shear and supports a tidy, flush finish when countersinking.

• Single slash on 25mm+ lengths: Designed to reduce driving torque and help lower the chance of timber splitting near edges.
• Thread length by screw length: Sizes up to and including 75mm are fully threaded; lengths 80mm and above have a 70mm thread length.
• Multi-material suitability: Suitable for softwoods, pre-drilled hardwood, chipboard, MDF and plastic.
