TIMCO 10212CWZ Twin-Thread Countersunk Woodscrews (10 x 2 1/2), Silver, Pack of 200

TIMCO 10212CWZ twin-threaded countersunk woodscrews are designed for fast fixing in soft timber, with a thread form that helps drive quickly while supporting strong pull-out resistance.

This TIMCO wood screw features a double countersunk head to help reduce the likelihood of head shear and to assist with clean countersinking, making it a practical choice for general woodworking and joinery tasks. The 10212CWZ is partially threaded and is also commonly used for masonry fixings when paired with a suitable plastic plug.

Key Features

• Twin-thread design: 60° twin-threads with a parallel shank for faster insertion and increased pull-out resistance.
• Single lead start: Helps the screw start quickly for efficient installation.
• Double countersunk head: Reduces the likelihood of head shear and helps complete countersinking neatly.
• Partially threaded: Partially threaded shank (from 1 1/4" and above) to support strong clamping in typical timber fixings.
• Hardened steel construction: Manufactured from C10-18 steel; surface hardened up to 750 HV with core hardness up to 450 HV for a balance of strength and ductility.
• Sharp point: 25° sharp point helps fast starting and improved thread acceptance in timber.
