TIMCO 00083CWZ Twin-Threaded Countersunk Silver Woodscrews, 8 x 3 (Pack of 200)

TIMCO 00083CWZ twin-threaded countersunk woodscrews are designed for fast, secure fixing in soft timber, with a sharp point and single lead start to help the screw bite quickly and drive in efficiently. The twin-thread design with a parallel shank is intended to improve insertion speed and enhance pull-out resistance in suitable materials.

These TIMCO twin-threaded woodscrews (size 8 x 3) are a practical choice for trade and DIY joinery and general construction tasks, and can also be used in masonry when paired with an appropriate plastic plug.

Key Features

• Twin-thread with parallel shank: Designed for faster insertion and improved pull-out resistance in soft timber applications.
• Single lead start: Helps the screw start quickly for efficient installation.
• Double countersunk head: Reduces the likelihood of head shear and supports a clean countersunk finish.
• Partially threaded design: Suitable where a section of plain shank is preferred for drawing materials together (partially threaded from 1 1/4" and above).
• Surface hardened steel: Surface hardened up to 750 HV to help prevent torque shearing under load, with core hardness up to 450 HV for improved ductility.
• 25° sharp point: Aids fast starting and improved thread acceptance in suitable materials.
