The fan's robust 90w motor can deliver 3 air flows, from a gentle breeze to a brisk wind. For enhanced cooling effect, this standing fan is also a mist fan, and mist helps to cool the air when it evaporates. In fact, the TM-MF40RD offers you a choice of three mist intensities. Just fill the large 3-litre water tank, and the water refill indicator light will alert you when the water level is getting low. The fan and the mist function may be operated separately from one another. The TM-MF40RD is a 3-speed fan, but did you know that this fan has 3 air-flow modes? You can choose from normal mode, sleep mode and nature mode: sleep mode gives you gentle variation and pauses in air flow, while nature mode is like Sleep mode, but with periods of stronger air flow. For added convenience, this pedestal floor fan has a touch-sensor control panel: The LED display panel allows you to turn the fan on or off, choose from 3 air-speed settings, select the operating mode (sleep, nature, normal), set the timer (from 0.5 hr to 7.5 hrs) and select from one of three mist intensities. The handy fan remote control lets you turn the fan on or off, choose from one of three air-speeds, select the operating mode (sleep, nature, normal), set the fan timer (to switch off the fan after 0.5 hr to 7.5 hrs of operation) and turn on the fan's oscillation mode. If you want to fix the fan head in a stationary position, pull up the oscillation knob; push it down to allow the fan head to oscillate.
