The variable speed dial features 6 speed settings; that means you can choose the best speed for your tasks, both increasing efficiency and protecting your safety. The front handle has 3 different positions, which allows you to choose the most comfortable position for your task. The handle makes it possible to use the upper part of the belt for sanding in hard-to-reach places. You can make sure that your sanding belt runs straight by turning the tracking adjustment knob as needed. This belt sander has a long 3m power cable, which means that you have a bigger workspace; it also reduces the chance that you'll accidentally pull out the plug during use.
