DeWalt DW03101 100m Laser Distance Measure

The Dewalt DW03101-XJ Laser Distance Measure is one of the most versatile distance measuring devices available on the market at the moment.

With a range of 100m, this offers an pin sharp accuracy of only +/-1.5mm difference. The compact device, which can easily sit in a pocket, is incredibly durable and is not only IP54 rated against water and debris resistance, but will also transfer measurements to a phone or tablet via the Tool Connect App and Bluetooth.

The DW03101 provides measurements for distance, area and indirect height with both 2-point and 3-point Pythagorean calculations. This is for when there is no clear line of site between where to need to measure FROM and measure TO.

With your DW03101, you can measure two sides of a right-angled triangle, and it will work out the third with its built-in Pythagoras functionality. Similarly, you can get the height of a structure without even being next to it, just by measuring your distance from the base and from the top, and you can measure the width of a building by standing some distance away and taking measurements from there.

Data is recorded in both Metric and Imperial and displayed on a clear colour screen. If you’re unable to transfer the data immediately, the Distance Measure will record up to 20 measurements on an internal memory. The TPE overmould housing ensures a secure grip and slip protection.

The unit has a flat base that gives a solid platform to measure without the unit shaking and moving to help avoid measuring errors. The backlit, 2 line display provides visibility in all working conditions. For greater flexibility, the DW03101 has a ¼” Tripod thread so that it can be easily added to a tripod for measuring at height.
