The DC18SJ is a compact, portable charger designed for Makita LXT® 14.4V and 18V lithium-ion batteries. Unlike traditional mains chargers, it operates via USB-C Power Delivery (USB-PD), making it highly versatile for use in a car, on-site, or from portable power banks and USB-PD adapters (60W–100W input).
It converts USB-C power into a controlled charging system for LXT batteries, with intelligent charging communication and LED status indicators. It is designed for mobility rather than fast workshop charging.
Makita is the foremost manufacturer of power tools in the world. With over 100 years' experience, their products are lauded the world over by professional users for both their performance and quality. Operating from their headquarters in Japan as well as myriad offices across the globe – including the UK – their vision has always been for society and global communities to be able to develop for themselves and future generations. By providing the tools and striving for innovation, they ensure anything is possible.
