Makita DML810/2 LED Area Worklight (18V LXT / 240V, 5,500 Lumens) Bare Unit
Makita DML810/2 LED area worklight is a self-righting, free-standing site light designed to deliver bright, controllable illumination across large work areas, helping trades and maintenance teams work more safely and accurately in low-light conditions.
With corded or cordless operation, the DML810/2 can run from the mains or an 18V LXT Li-ion battery (compatible with the Makita 18V LXT platform), making it a practical choice for workshops, refurb projects and job sites where power availability can change during the day.
Key Features
- Self-righting design: Helps the light stay upright, even when knocked or bumped, for more dependable site lighting.
- 3 brightness modes: Select High (5,500 lm), Medium (3,000 lm) or Low (1,500 lm) to balance output with runtime.
- Selectable illumination coverage: Choose 360° area lighting, left 180° or right 180° to focus light where it’s needed.
- Corded or cordless flexibility: Operates on 240V mains or Makita 18V LXT batteries for adaptable on-site use.
- Dual-battery holder: Holds two 18V LXT batteries and runs on one at a time, using the second when needed.
- Daisy-chain capability on mains: When powered from AC, up to 8 lights can be connected together to extend illumination through multiple areas.
- Battery backup on power loss: With a charged 18V battery installed, the light can stay on if AC power is interrupted.
- Low-battery warning: Dims to alert you when battery power is low and provides around 5 minutes of reduced output to allow a battery change or connection to mains.
